FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers about local storage, encryption, imports, backups and the limits of the model.

Does ArchitekIA use a remote database?

Not for the local vault. Items are stored in IndexedDB on the device.

Are my files executed?

No. They remain encrypted data. ArchitekIA does not run macros, scripts or imported active SVG.

Can I import Firefox or Chrome bookmarks?

Yes, through a bookmark HTML export or compatible CSV. The file is read as data and previewed before import.

Can I share only a few items?

Yes. The selection is exported into an encrypted package using a passphrase separate from the vault.

What if I lose my passphrase?

Use a long, unique passphrase. If it is lost, encrypted data may become unrecoverable.

Is browser storage a backup?

Browser storage is not an eternal backup. Export your encrypted vault regularly.

Can I use ITYLOS Forge to prepare my passphrase?

Yes, optionally. Forge opens separately and runs locally. For Deterministic mode, use a strong master secret, ideally 16 characters or more, and the exact identifier architekia.com. ArchitekIA sends no secret to ITYLOS.

What are 0bla and ITYLOS used for?

They are optional services separate from the vault. 0bla can help shorten a sharing URL. ITYLOS can transport an encrypted package, with a stated 3.5 MB limit per send.

Does the ArchitekIA demo send data?

No. The demo only adds public references and a note to your local vault, then encrypts them like your own items.

Does PayPal support unlock features?

No. Support is voluntary and does not buy additional access to the local core.

What happens if I clear browser site data?

The local vault may disappear with the site data. Exporting an encrypted backup is therefore recommended.

Does ArchitekIA work on mobile?

The interface is designed mobile first. Actions such as drag and drop are complemented by touch-friendly buttons and menus.
