Local vault
Vault items are encrypted in the browser and stored in IndexedDB. The vault passphrase is not sent to the server.
PRIVACY
Collect less, separate better
ArchitekIA follows a local-first model. The browser vault, contact form and optional remote backup are treated as separate components to reduce transfers and confusion.
No profiling
No advertising tracker, marketing pixel, third-party CDN or remote font is required to operate the website.
Local preferences
Theme and some interface preferences may be stored locally. Language is determined by the public URL without advertising profiling.
Optional remote backup
If enabled, only already-encrypted envelopes and strictly necessary technical metadata are sent. The vault passphrase is not transmitted.
Recovery code
The remote copy uses a recovery code separate from the vault passphrase. Keep it separately. Losing it may make the remote copy inaccessible.
Voluntary sharing
A share package contains only the selection explicitly chosen by the user and uses a separate passphrase.
Contact form
Name, reply address, subject and message are sent to the server so a reply can be provided. They remain separate from the local vault.
Contact retention
The active contact queue is limited to a maximum of 90 days by the configured pruning mechanism.
Infomaniak Network SA
Server-side services are hosted in Switzerland by Infomaniak Network SA. Where the GDPR applies, ArchitekIA aims to meet the relevant duties around minimisation, security, information and data control.
